Venessa Phipps works full time as the Senior Manager, IT Disaster Recovery Governance for a major Contract Research Organization. She received her Level 3 Certified Clinical Aromatherapist from Institute for Spiritual Healing and Aromatherapy and is a member of NAHA (National Association of Holistic Aromatherapist). Venessa attended American College of Health Sciences where she obtained her certification in Natural Products Manufacturing. Along with developing and manufacturing natural products for over 10 years, she is also an author. She has shared aromatherapy and herbal knowledge in the previously published newsletter “Live, Laugh, Love, Lavender” and is a former feature writer for MYB magazine. During her writing season she wrote articles on the topics from natural products for body care to food.
In 2009 she launched DeGanya Aromatics a micro business making products for the Spirit, Soul and Body. She was a featured Artisan in the 2017 publication Naturally Saponified 3: An International Gallery of Artisan Soaps by Daryl Gessner. In 2018 she started her blog,” DeGanya Aromatics’ Natural Beauty Blog” and in 2019 she began releasing soap making videos through YouTube. Venessa is a hands-on person and teaches soap making and other natural products for Newtown Department of Parks and Recreation, Newtown, PA and North Hampton Department of Parks and Recreation, Richboro, PA.
Venessa received her BA and MBA from Fairleigh Dickinson University, Madison, NJ.
